Deep Chat
#MKBiblechat is taking the next step forward into Deep Chats--a more serious, private chat study limited to 20 members. We will use a platform that springboards off twitter but uses a password only known to the members. This way no RTs and interruptions will be tweeted into the timeline.
Each chatter will have a workbook I have prepared to use as a guideline for the study. While it will not take a lot of time/homework, we do want it to be an effective learning experience. Each month we will have an optional hour long conference call for anyone to get on and interact and ask questions.
Not only will it be a great learning experience, but at the end of the 8 weeks, you will have gained 19 new Christian twitter friend that you will know pretty well.
Currently we are offering three DeepChats that will begin end of June or first week of July. 1. Bible Study chat which is both a "how to" study the Bible and how to memorize verses as well as a hands on study through I John. Chat 2. Apologetics Chat: learning the core basics of our faith and how to "give to every man an answer " (I Peter 3:15) clearly and cogently. Chat 3: (co-led by @CheriDouglas who has a degree in nutrition) is HealthChat: not just focusing on how to lose weight, but how to lead a healthy life physically, mentally and emotionally.
